Cockpit view from a single-engine aircraft at altitude

The Person Behind PilotNation

The Pilot. The Builder. The Founder.

I am not a marketer who discovered aviation. I am a pilot who built a real estate company at scale, watched the same structural problem appear in aircraft ownership, and decided to solve it.

Who I Am

Built for the long game. Not just the next transaction.

I have spent over a decade in professional aviation — first flying B-1B bombers for the United States Air Force, now as a First Officer on the 737. Aviation is not a side interest. It is the career I have built my life around, and it gives me a perspective on aircraft ownership that very few advisors can claim. I know what these aircraft cost. I know how flight schools operate. I know the economics from the inside.

While I was flying, I was building. I grew a real estate company from zero to 3,000 managed doors, 18 apartment complexes, and multi-state operations in five years — simultaneously with an active flying career. That experience shaped how I think about every asset I evaluate. Idle assets connected to the right operators, with the right infrastructure around them, perform. Without that infrastructure, they bleed.

I am married with kids. Everything I build is built for the long game — not the next commission, not the next transaction, but something real that outlasts the cockpit career and creates genuine value for the people I work with. That is why PilotNation is structured the way it is. Advisory fee. Management percentage. No commission on the transaction. My incentive is to give you better advice, not to close a deal.

The mission mindset from the Air Force never left. In the military, you serve the mission and the people around you — not yourself. That is exactly how I run PilotNation. When you call, you speak with me directly. When we evaluate your aircraft, I tell you the truth about what I see. When the arrangement does not make sense, I say so. That is the only way this works long term.

I am not building a platform. I am building a practice — the kind of advisory relationship that serious asset owners deserve and almost never find in aviation.

The Credentials Behind the Conversation

Everything I do here I have done before — at scale, under pressure.

10+

Years in professional aviation

B-1B bombers for the United States Air Force. Now flying the 737 as a First Officer. Aviation is not a credential I borrowed. It is the career I live.

3,000

Managed real estate doors built from scratch

Zero to scale in five years. Eighteen apartment complexes. Multi-state operations. The same framework — find underutilized assets, connect them with operators, build the management infrastructure — now applied to aircraft.

Careers running simultaneously

I did not choose between flying and building. I did both at the same time. That discipline — managing complexity, executing under pressure, finishing what I start — is what every client in this network gets.

Person you speak with when you call

No sales team. No intake form that goes to an associate. No automated pipeline. When you book a strategy call with PilotNation, you speak directly with me. That is the whole point.

Why This Exists

A cockpit career has a clock on it. Everything I build has to outlast it.

Every pilot knows the career has an end date. Medical, age, the industry — something closes the door eventually. I started building in real estate because I refused to let that date be the finish line. PilotNation is the next chapter of that same thinking — building something real, in an industry I know from the inside, that creates lasting value for aircraft owners, buyers, schools, and investors long after I hang up the headset.

I am doing this for my family. For the owners who deserve a neutral advisor. For the buyers who need someone to tell them the truth before they commit. For the flight schools that cannot grow because nobody is connecting them with the aircraft sitting idle in their own city. That is the mission. That is what gets me on the phone every day.

Serve the mission. Tell the truth. Build something that lasts.
